This is just a quick and lighthearted article to point out a section on the HSE’s own website which never fails to tickle us here at the Pro Business offices.
It is their “myth of the month” section and can be seen by following this link http://www.hse.gov.uk/myth/index.htm. It is very well done and is their way of poking a little fun at some of the more ridiculous things that they or the H & S rules have been incorrectly blamed for stopping or quoted as saying in the past. They are here to help and they do a very good job – of course they have a serious job to do but they are not unreasonable and are not the “fun police” as some articles and news items would have you believe. Just make sure that you keep working safely, have all your paperwork up to date and then they will take no issue with you…..
